Position Summary: The Industrial Electrician is responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance, with a focus on electrical systems in an automotive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide maintenance support ensuring machines and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
2. Enhance electrical processes to reduce production downtime.
3. Install and maintain electrical machinery and equipment safely.
4. Perform repairs on machinery and support systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
5. Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives with proper documentation.
7. Understand and follow mechanical and electrical prints.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 442A or 309A License.
2. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
3. Certified to operate Aerial Lift.
4. Ability to learn Robot programming and PLCs.
5. Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
6. Strong problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and in teams.
8. Effective communication skills.
9. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
