Job Description: Industrial Electrician
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with the following qualifications and responsibilities:
- Minimum 1+ years of North American industrial experience in the Electrician trade.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, preferably OMRON, B&R, Allen-Bradley, Vipa, GE, and Siemens.
- Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical systems, and valves.
- Strong knowledge of utility equipment such as compressors, grinders, pumps, shredders, water towers, chillers, crystallizers, dryers, burners, etc.
- Experience with servo motors, drives, and safety circuits.
- Ability to work at heights on electrical conduits and on top of silos.
- Capability to perform work on 600 volts main and bus bars.
- Arc Flash training certification is required.
- Proficiency in using industrial lifting and moving equipment, including scissor lifts, genie booms, forklifts, and ladders.
- Knowledge of electrical codes to meet ESA requirements.
- Ability to read, interpret, and prepare layouts, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Good judgment, attention to detail, and initiative to complete projects.
- Must have own basic tools.
- Excellent team player with good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects and lift/move products, parts, or boxes as required.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes.
- Prior experience in plant operations and maintenance preferred.
