Job description

Job Description: Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with the following qualifications and responsibilities:

1. Minimum 1+ years of North American industrial experience in the Electrician trade.
2. Knowledge of PLC systems, preferably OMRON, B&R, Allen-Bradley, Vipa, GE, and Siemens.
3. Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical systems, and valves.
4. Strong knowledge of utility equipment such as compressors, grinders, pumps, shredders, water towers, chillers, crystallizers, dryers, burners, etc.
5. Experience with servo motors, drives, and safety circuits.
6. Ability to work at heights on electrical conduits and on top of silos.
7. Capability to perform work on 600 volts main and bus bars.
8. Arc Flash training certification is required.
9. Proficiency in using industrial lifting and moving equipment, including scissor lifts, genie booms, forklifts, and ladders.
10. Knowledge of electrical codes to meet ESA requirements.
11. Ability to read, interpret, and prepare layouts, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
12. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
13. Good judgment, attention to detail, and initiative to complete projects.
14. Must have own basic tools.
15. Excellent team player with good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
16. Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects and lift/move products, parts, or boxes as required.
17. Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Additional Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical documents and manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes.
• Prior experience in plant operations and maintenance preferred.
