Maintenance Electrician – 442A Certified

We are seeking a 442A Maintenance Electrician to join Can Art Aluminum Extrusion in Brampton, ON. This full-time position offers competitive pay and follows a 12-hour continental shift schedule, rotating between days and nights, with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control devices
• Perform regular preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Work with PLC systems (mainly Allen-Bradley) to diagnose and resolve issues
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Assist in training apprentices or less experienced team members
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies (OHSA, ESA, etc.)

Qualifications

• Valid 442A Industrial Electrician license (consideration may be given to 309A with strong industrial experience)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and PLC diagnostics
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and code specifications
• Experience in metal processing, die casting, or stamping is a strong asset
