Job Description
Temp to permanent position in Southampton. Working on a key site for one of our clients. To provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. Deliver PPM relating primarily to Electrical Equipment in line with agreed programmes / SLA's to meet Client and Statutory Compliance. Complete Reactive Works identified through PPM work when requested. Provide Service Support as part of a team delivering quality service 24/7, with a requirement to be part of the out-of-hours emergency call-out team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and health and safety systems and procedures.
- Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreements to meet KPIs.
- Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard through a proactive service delivery methodology.
- Develop excellent working relationships with our clients, their staff, or appointed representatives through good customer service.
- Ensure all applicable site documentation is kept up to date, as this will be regularly audited by internal or external parties.
- Work as part of a collaborative team and assist where necessary to meet all contractual obligations.
- Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works, ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake Overtime when works cannot be performed during non-working hours.
- Manage the completion of minor works carried out by others.
- Liaise directly with the onsite FM Team and other service partners to foster collaborative working relationships.
- Utilise the client's CAFM system to provide accurate information related to our service provision.
- Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure the safe delivery of all work.
- Carry out Electrical Maintenance / Installation work efficiently and in accordance with the Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671), and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
ESSENTIAL
- Practical experience carrying out PPMs and undertaking routine Electrical Repairs and Maintenance in line with SFG20 or equivalent with basic fault-finding diagnostic experience.
- Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (not Essential).
- City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 or equivalent.
- Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
- City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
- Capable of working independently.
- Excellent customer service skills – very client-facing.
DESIRABLE
- IOSH Working / Managing Safely.
- Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc.
- L8 Training.
