Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) (required).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (Food & Beverage or Pharmaceuticals preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
• Experience with electrical system design in consulting/project management context.
• Familiarity with complex electrical distribution networks, including cogeneration systems.
• Ability to travel to client sites with reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and validation of electrical systems in industrial settings.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop electrical power distribution designs for large projects.
• Provide expertise in lighting, fire alarms, communication systems, and process control for new and existing buildings.
• Manage projects involving electrical infrastructure, including high voltage distribution up to 44kV.
• Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting, delivering practical recommendations.
• Develop and review engineering specifications, contracts, and progress reports.
• Ensure designs adhere to codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians.
