IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor in Edmonton, Alberta. The role combines hands-on engineering expertise, people leadership and project management within an industrial electrical systems environment.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee design reviews, and coordinate engineering activities across projects while ensuring safety and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• P.Eng. designation with APEGA in good standing.
• Strong experience in industrial electrical engineering and project-based environments.
• Experience supervising and mentoring engineers, EITs, programmers or designers.
• Knowledge of three-phase power systems, PLCs, HMIs, MCCs and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team.
• Oversee daily engineering activities and coordinate workloads.
• Provide technical guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Review electrical drawings, specs, calculations, and documentation.
• Manage projects from design through procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
