Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Service Technician - Compressor Maintenance to service customer sites across Eastern Canada. You will diagnose and repair industrial compressor equipment, ensuring high-quality, safe operation and timely responses.

The role requires industrial repair certifications, 3–10 years of mechanical experience, ability to travel, and proficiency with MS Office, ERP, and Salesforce; you will work independently while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Certifying training in industrial machine repair or equivalent.
• 3–10 years of mechanical repair experience, preferably with rotating equipment.
• Mandatory WHMIS, forklift, and overhead crane certifications and a valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to use MS Office, ERP, and Salesforce.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer orientation, autonomy, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnose equipment at customer sites with high-quality service.
• Communicate with coordinators, managers, and clients to assess needs and explain options.
• Provide regular updates and complete documentation accurately.
• Identify future business opportunities and plan travel for efficiency.
• Contribute to a safe work environment and report hazards.
