Job summary

Atlantic Compressed Air in Dartmouth, NS seeks a Service Technician to service customers on the road. Base salary plus bonuses and perks, including a company truck, gas card, cell phone and laptop, will be provided to support field work.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in maintenance of industrial equipment, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of air compressors is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance and repair experience on industrial equipment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of air compressors is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance service for customers’ equipment.
• Investigate root causes of unplanned shutdowns and perform repairs.
• Deliver excellent customer service to promote loyalty.
• Share information effectively with administration.
• Maximize work schedule and profitability of tasks.

Service Technician – Compressed Air

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team on the road, in Dartmouth!

Total compensation between $65,000 and $95,000 per year, including:

• Base salary pending level of experience;
• Monthly bonuses plan;
• Several premium offered (overtime, on-call, distance, training…).
• Company truck and credit card for gas.

• Protective equipment and specialty tools are provided; basic tools required.

Responsabilities

• Provide preventative maintenance service for our customers’ equipment;
• Investigate the root causes of unplanned shutdowns and make the appropriate repair;
• Provide excellent customer service promoting customer loyalty;
• Participate in the effective sharing of information with the administration;
• Maximize the work schedule and the profitability of the assigned tasks.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF

• You have 1 to 3 years experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment;
• You have a good knowledge of mechanical and electrical controls;
• You have a valid driver’s license and good driving record;
• You have knowledge of air compressors (an asset).
