Job summary

Canadian Mental Health Association Muskoka-Parry Sound (CMHAMPS) is hiring an Intake and Crisis Case Manager (67-26) to support Indigenous populations in Muskoka and Parry Sound. The role includes mobile outreach, in-person support, and participation in a 24/7 on-call service.

The position values Indigenous knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary rural team. 35 hours/week, contract through March 2027, based in Parry Sound.

Qualifications

• Indigenous language awareness is highly valued.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a rural, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage walk-in referrals and crisis situations with cultural sensitivity.
• Respond to emergency department requests and provide crisis assessments.
• Serve as shift manager for the B'Saanibamaadsiwin team and handle referrals.
• Engage with First Nations communities and external partners.
• Participate in after-hours on-call crisis service and 24/7 crisis support.
• Contribute to community education and development activities.
