Job summary

Chief Red Bear Children's Lodge is seeking an Off-Reserve Navigator to design and implement youth and family programs in collaboration with CFN and community partners. You will travel to meet clients across Canada and work within a team that respects Cowessess First Nation values and culture.

The role emphasizes advocacy for CFN members, strong communication, reliability, empathy, and a commitment to holistic community development.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in human services or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience planning, organizing and leading programs or events.
  • Experience working with First Nations communities and knowledge of First Nations culture and governance.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement programs engaging CFN members.
  • Collaborate with schools, families and community organizations.
  • Travel to meet clients across Canada as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe environment aligned with Cowessess First Nation values.
