Job summary

Dilico Anishinabek Family Care is seeking a Systems Navigator to support clients in navigating services and assessing external resources. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will establish client contacts and deliver community-based services following organizational policies.

The role is full-time with a 32.5 hour work week in a community-focused setting, requiring travel and flexible hours. Indigeneity is preferred and a valid G license is required.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Degree in Indigenous Studies, Office Administration, or equivalent, and/or experience relevant to the position considered
  • Two (2) years' experience coordination and/or managing social programs and services
  • One (1) year direct service experience with children and families
  • Experience working with aboriginal people, organizations, and communities
  • Satisfactory Criminal Records Search; including a Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Must have a valid Class “G” Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Travel is an expectation of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a point of contact with clients, supporting navigating services within the organization.
  • Assist clients in assessing external support and navigating available community services.
  • Deliver community-based services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
