Job summary

Royal York Property Management seeks experienced HVAC Technicians to diagnose, maintain, repair, and install residential HVAC systems across properties. You will work independently, manage appointments via a mobile app, and travel between sites using your own vehicle.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC, active licences, and a strong diagnostic mindset. Use your tools to ensure safety and quality, documenting all findings and outcomes during each service call.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3 years of paid professional HVAC field experience.
• Ability to diagnose and complete HVAC work independently without on-site supervision.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, repairing, or installing residential HVAC systems.
• Must hold active licences, certificates, tickets, or legal authority for HVAC work.
• Own a reliable vehicle to travel between appointments and carry tools and parts.
• Own HVAC tools and testing equipment suitable for approved scope.
• Smartphone capable of GPS, taking photos, reading work orders, and submitting updates.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of HVAC safety and qualification limits.
• Able to test completed work and report any issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC problems and determine repairs or replacements.
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and installations within your scope.
• Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, and related equipment.
• Inspect systems, filters, pressures, electrical components, and operation.
• Record model/serial numbers, findings, repairs, and completed work.
• Take photos of equipment and installed components and upload updates.
• Travel between appointments using your own vehicle.
• Report unsafe equipment or work outside approved scope.
