Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to diagnose, maintain, repair, and install residential HVAC equipment across Kingston, Ontario. You will travel to properties, document findings, and complete work safely and professionally using a mobile work app.

Role requires 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, independent problem-solving, and valid licences. You will operate with your own vehicle and tools, servicing furnaces, AC, heat pumps, boilers, and related systems in

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of paid professional HVAC field experience.
Able to diagnose and complete assigned HVAC work independently.
Experience servicing, maintaining, repairing, or installing residential HVAC systems.
Must have active licences/certificates/tickets for HVAC work.
Must have own vehicle and HVAC tools.
Own smartphone with GPS & field app; take photos and submit updates.

Responsibilities

Diagnose HVAC problems and recommend repairs or replacements.
Perform maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and installations within approved scope.
Service residential systems (furnaces, AC, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, ducts, vents).
Inspect equipment, controls, electrical components, and system operation.
Record model numbers, findings, and completed work; take photos.
Use mobile work app to view orders, navigate, and update statuses.
Travel between appointments using own vehicle.
Report unsafe equipment or work outside approved scope.
