Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to diagnose, maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment across residential properties in Ontario. Travel between appointments using your own vehicle and manage work orders via a mobile app.

The role requires independent work, adherence to safety, and licensed qualifications. You will document findings, take photos, and ensure completed work meets scope and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of paid HVAC field experience.
• Ability to diagnose and complete work independently.
• Experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
• Active licences/certificates for HVAC work.
• Own reliable vehicle for travel between appointments.
• Own HVAC tools and testing equipment.
• Smartphone with GPS, apps, and photo capability.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Solid HVAC safety knowledge.
• Basic English communication.
• Punctual, reliable, with GPS-confirmed scheduling.
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of scheduled time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC problems and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and installations within scope.
• Service residential systems including furnaces, AC, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, ducts, thermostats.
• Inspect components and system operation; identify required parts.
• Test systems before departure to ensure safe operation.
• Document findings, repairs, and completed work with photos.
