Golden Life is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for Lake View Village in Nelson, BC. The role is permanent, part-time (0.80 FTE) with a Tuesday–Friday shift from 8:00 to 16:00.

You will maintain clean resident rooms and common areas, assist with laundry, and follow infection prevention policies to protect residents and staff. You’ll work in a welcoming community, interact with residents and guests in a courteous manner, and contribute to a positive team environment while completing required

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Energetic, focused, and enthusiastic.
• Accountability for building sanitation and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain clean, safe, and inviting resident rooms and common areas.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and manage equipment.
• Support laundry services as needed.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and security policies.
• Report health or safety concerns to your manager.
• Interact with residents and coworkers in a warm, respectful manner.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Contribute positively to the team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
