Job summary

Golden Life Crest View Village – Long-Term Care in Creston, BC is seeking a Resident Advisor. This part-time (0.65 FTE) role supports seniors with person-centered care, meal services, and activity programming under a day shift (10:00am–6:00pm).

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of Accounting Procedures.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Valid Class 4 Driver’s License.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Can provide a negative TB Screening test and immunization record as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to enhance the lives of residents.
• Deliver programs with the Community Manager, following Golden Life policies.
• Address resident needs regarding meals and personal care services.
• Circulate the monthly activities calendar and post reminders.
• Participate in event planning as required by the Community Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and assist with dining room duties.
• Assist residents to dining room and serve meals including tea and coffee.
• Answer telephone calls courteously and record messages.
