Job summary

Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc. Beechwood Village in British Columbia is seeking a Housekeeper for a casual on-site role. The Housekeeper will handle general housekeeping and laundry tasks, keeping areas clean and organized in a resident-focused environment.

The position requires 1–2 years of experience, flexibility with shifts, and basic CPR/First Aid credentials. Knowledge of WHMIS is a plus, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of WHMIS principles is an asset.
• Certificate in CPR and Emergency First Aid desired.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• As the Housekeeper you are responsible for all general housekeeping and laundry duties, ensuring all assigned areas are kept at the highest cleaning standard.
• Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the position.
• Demonstrated ability to carry out lifting, bending, stooping and stretching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work within a team.
