Job summary

Sunshine Village Corporation in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Customer Care Centre Agent to handle inbound calls, walk-in inquiries, and online/retail sales. The role includes booking Sunshine Mountain Lodge reservations and providing excellent service to guests, while coordinating with Sales & Marketing and Hotel Revenue teams.

The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service, experience in sales, and familiarity with hotel management systems.

Qualifications

Passion for customer service.
Experience in a sales environment, with hotel management systems, and in the ski industry, is preferred.
Positive, mature, and professional attitude.
Prepared to work flexible schedules e.g., weekends, holidays, and extended hours during promotions.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service on all telephone and walk-in inquiries.
Promptly answer incoming calls and transfer them to appropriate departments.
Proactively promote sales with knowledge of Resort products and services.
Book reservations for the Sunshine Mountain Lodge.
Maintain clear communication with other departments and team members.
Handle customer issues appropriately and proactively.
Perform general office functions (sorting mail, receiving courier items, filing).
Assist customers with account setup and pass printing/fulfilment.
Document meetings, schedules, reports, and purchase orders timely and accurately.
