Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is hiring a part-time Home Care Attendant to provide personal care and home support to clients in Steinbach. The role supports independence and dignity in client homes, following an established plan of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining safety, and coordinating with the Home Care team. A Grade 12, plus a Home Care Attendant or Health Care Aide certificate, and bilingual English/French skills are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education required.
• Home Care Attendant Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate with community component from a recognized post-secondary institute.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and home support services to home care clients as assigned.
• Work independently and as part of a Home Care team.
• Follow plan of care and assist frail or disabled clients to remain in their homes.
• Travel to other regional facilities as duties require.
