Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud in Manitoba is hiring a Home Care Attendant (HCA) for the Home Care - Niverville site. This term, in‑person role is 0.50 FTE with evenings and weekends, starting 10/02/2026 and ending 01/02/2028.

You will provide personal care and home support to clients under an established plan of care, helping frail or disabled individuals stay safely in their own homes. Requires Grade 12 education and a Home Care Attendant or Health Care Aide certificate (community component).

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required.
• Home Care Attendant Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate with community component from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Bilingual English/French is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safe handling of information.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and home support to Home Care clients as assigned.
• Prioritize tasks and exercise independent judgment within policy.
• Work as part of the Home Care team to deliver consistent care.
• May require evenings and weekends hours as needed.
