Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Canada is hiring dedicated caregivers to support clients at home in the Metro Vancouver area. The role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and enabling clients to live independently in familiar surroundings.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., CPR and First Aid certifications, a Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate or equivalent, and at least one year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
  • At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

What we are looking for:
  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • CPR Certification is required
  • First Aid Certification is required
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; additional languages are a plus
  • At least 1 year of prior caregiving experience
  • Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position
  • A valid driver’s license is a plus
  • Covid Vaccination Proof is required
  • Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required
What you will be doing:
  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
Salary Range:
  • 19-21
