Job summary

ComForCare Home Care Calgary, AB is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients stay independent at home. You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping and meaningful companionship in the clients' living spaces.

We value a high school diploma or GED, CPR Level C, reliable transportation, and a genuine passion for serving others. Prior homecare or senior living experience is a bonus as are additional certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• First Aid/CPR Level C certification is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to client locations.
• Previous homecare or senior living experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care and support with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping and household errands as needed.
• Provide companionship and respite support for families.

• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.

• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• First Aid with CPR-Level C
• Medication Administration Course Certificate could be an added advantage
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience caregiving for clients in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
• Previous experience as a home caregiver or in a senior communities is a bonus.
