ComForCare Home Health Care - Coquitlam, BC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their own homes in Coquitlam, BC. The role emphasizes companionship, personal care, and helping clients stay independent with mobility support and daily activities.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, CPR and First Aid certifications, and at least 1 year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • English proficiency (spoken and written); extra languages a plus.
  • At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Driver’s license is a plus.
  • Covid vaccination proof required.
  • TB screening and criminal record check required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
  • Provide personal care and mobility assistance as needed.
  • Support transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Plan and prepare meals; manage household tasks.
  • Give companionship and respite to families.

What we are looking for:
  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • CPR Certification is required
  • First Aid Certification is required
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; additional languages are a plus
  • At least 1 year of prior caregiving experience
  • Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position
  • A valid driver’s license is a plus
  • Covid Vaccination Proof is required
  • Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required
What you will be doing:
  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
Salary Range:
  • 19-21
