West Vancouver is seeking two Street Use and Parking Enforcement Officers to join our Bylaw & Licensing Services team. The role covers enforcement of street use, boulevard and parking regulations with regular patrols and public interaction.

The successful candidates will have grade 12, strong communication skills, and experience with license plate recognition and investigations. Adjudication proceedings may be involved, and driving record checks are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of grade 12 and related enforcement or regulatory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with patrols using license plate recognition software and investigations.
• Ability to attend adjudication proceedings.

Aufgaben

• Enforce street use, boulevard, traffic and parking bylaws; patrol assigned areas.
• Issue tickets for parking infractions and provide information on bylaws.
• Conduct investigations and respond to routine complaints within bylaw enforcement.
• Utilize license plate recognition software and support adjudication proceedings when required.
