Job summary

Social Venture Partners Vancouver is seeking a dedicated Events & Partner Engagement specialist to deliver high-quality SVP events and activate our Partner engagement model. You’ll coordinate Partner volunteer opportunities, connect Partner interests to capacity-building activities, and ensure strong communication and systematized data flows to support our mission.

You will manage a range of events—large conferences, smaller knowledge and social gatherings, and online events—end to end,

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing events (50-80+ attendees).
• Attention to venue, catering, registration, run-of-show, accessibility, participant experience.
• Problem solving and anticipation to handle challenges.
• Build and maintain partnerships with Partners, Volunteers and Investee/Alumni.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver SVP events from start to finish, including various formats and budgets.
• Coordinate day-to-day Partner engagement, invitations, communications and opportunities.
• Coordinate Partner Volunteer activities end-to-end, matching skills to needs.
• Build and maintain systems to track Partner interests, opportunities and follow-through.
• Implement partner learning, education and community-building experiences.
• Gather feedback and capture stories to showcase impact, with Communications support.
