Job summary

Swim Recruiting in Vancouver is seeking a hands-on Marketing & Business Development Coordinator on a contract basis. You will run marketing campaigns, manage events, sponsorships, digital content and member programs while coordinating externally with partners and members.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a collaborative spirit, and strong writing and design skills. Hybrid work with occasional evenings for major events is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant marketing, communications, business development, sponsorship, events or membership experience.
• Experience in an NPO/association with a membership base is highly preferred.
• Strong marketing, writing and content-development skills.
• Post-secondary education in marketing or business is preferred (degree/diploma/certificate).
• Systems knowledge: social media, email marketing, CRMs and digital platforms; InDesign experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing campaigns, events, sponsorships and partner initiatives.
• Create engaging marketing materials across digital and print channels.
• Support sponsor and exhibitor relationships from onboarding through event delivery.
• Manage website content, social media, email marketing and digital platforms.
• Design materials using Adobe InDesign for event collateral, presentations and signage.
• Create and edit video and other digital content.
• Track program, sponsorship and marketing activity and measure results.
• Work with communications to ensure a consistent brand experience.
