Job summary

Community Living Hamilton is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support Finance, Operations and Client Services with a focus on accuracy and compliance in client finances and program records.

You will conduct audits, review financial logs, assist with AP/AR, maintain records, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in not-for-profit or social services.
• Experience providing entry level finance support and basic bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct semi-annual third-party audits of client finances and report findings.
• Review client financial logs and bank statements monthly and quarterly for discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
• Audit client files and ISPs to ensure Quality Assurance Measures are met.
• Support record retention and secure destruction of files per policy.
• Collect, analyze and report data related to duties.
• Identify process improvements and report risks to management.
• Promote a collaborative culture and build relationships with teams and external partners.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and organization information at all times.
