Job summary

IKEA Richmond is hiring a co-worker for its Bistro & Sweden Shop team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service in a busy, physically demanding environment while maintaining clean stations and accurate product handling.

You will contribute to brand standards, support daily operations, and help ensure a positive customer experience. Starting at 19.28 CAD per hour, the position offers benefits and a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a similar environment.
• Physically demanding, fast-paced work setting.
• Experience in shipping and receiving is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to implementing compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
• Act as a brand ambassador for IKEA and IKEA Retail Food.
• Contribute to securing the customer experience and exceeding customer expectations.
• Apply retail foundations and sales steering tools to optimize commerciality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by seeking and acting on customer feedback.
• Take initiative and assume responsibility when taking actions.
• Develop skills and contribute to a high performing team.
• Support the unit business plan and IKEA Retail Food action plans.
