Job summary

ILSC Vancouver Testing Centre seeks dependable IELTS Invigilators to provide invigilation services as an independent contractor in Richmond and Surrey, BC. Most assignments occur on Saturdays and Sundays, with recurring weekday shifts depending on test schedules.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced testing environment. Proficiency with basic computer applications and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold test security standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a professional testing environment and managing candidate interactions.
• Previous invigilation, administration, customer service, or educational experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Setting up test rooms and equipment at the venue as required.
• Checking in and out test taker's personal belongings.
• Checking in test-takers using IELTS and other high-stakes testing processes.
• Administering and invigilating tests.
• Cleaning up after tests.
• Lifting and pushing/pulling bins that weight up to 30lbs.

Role: IELTS Invigilator

Location: Metro Vancouver (Richmond & Surrey, BC)

Compensation: CAD $19.00 per hour

ILSC Vancouver Testing Centre seeks dependable, customer-focused, and highly professional IELTS Invigilators to provide invigilation services as an independent contractor in Richmond and Surrey, BC. The team is looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced testing environment. Assignments are scheduled on an on-call/ass-needed basis, in line with operational requirements. Most assignments take place on Saturdays and Sundays, with recurring weekday assignments Monday through Friday, depending on test schedules.

Job Duties:

• The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Setting up test rooms and equipment at the venue as required
• Checking in and out test taker's personal belongings
• Checking in test-takers using IELTS and other high-stakes testing processes
• Administering and invigilating tests
• Cleaning up after tests
• Lifting and pushing/pulling bins that weight up to 30lbs
• Other duties as required
