Job summary

Singleton Reynolds is looking for an experienced ICBC Paralegal to join our team in Vancouver for maternity leave coverage. This will be a 13 month contract with the potential to extend.

The candidate must have 3+ years of paralegal experience and the ability to qualify for an ICBC Billing Number. The successful candidate will handle duties including diarizing limitation dates, drafting pleadings, trial preparation, client interviews, document management, and settlement coordination, while

Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience.
• Paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
• Experience billing through ICBC and time tracking.
• Superior organizational/document management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with database management is a plus.
• General litigation experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and diarizes limitation dates.
• Drafts, files, and serves pleadings, motions, and application materials.
• Completes Chambers and Trial preparation.
• Interviews clients to determine scope and validity of claim.
• Documents proof of claim and manages settlement process.
• Maintains file lists and reports to lawyers.
