Job summary

Clean Harbors in Calgary, AB is looking for a Hydro Vac Technician - Field Laborer to join their safety conscious team. The successful candidates will assist with safe operation of equipment including High Pressure Units, Chemical, Combo and Vacuum Trucks.

Responsibilities include assisting Operators, ensuring safe placement of units, completing daily paperwork, rigging equipment, and general site cleanup while delivering high levels of customer service to internal staff and external clients.

Qualifications

  • Class 5 Driver’s License required.
  • Industrial or oil field experience in a labor intensive role is required.
  • Previous experience with Vacuum, Chemical or High Pressure units is preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Assisting the Operators in the safe operation of all units;
  • Ensuring the job site placement of the unit is safe, stable and secure;
  • Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis;
  • Rigging equipment in and out;
  • General clean up and maintenance of units upon completion of the job;
  • Provides high levels of customer service with internal employees and external clients.
