Job summary

Clean Harbors in Sparwood, BC is seeking Field Laborers to support safe operation of equipment including High Pressure Units, Chemical, Combo and Vacuum Trucks. Join a safety-conscious team focused on health and safety as the top priority.

Responsibilities include assisting Operators, rigging, site safety, daily paperwork, and client-facing service. Prior experience with vacuum/chemical/high-pressure units is an asset; a valid Class 5 license is required.

Qualifications

• Full class 5 Driver's License (not GDL) required.
• Previous industrial or oil field experience in a labor intensive role is required.
• Previous experience with Vacuum, Chemical or High Pressure units is an asset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Assisting the Operators in the safe operation of all units;
• Ensuring the job site placement of the unit is safe, stable and secure;
• Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis;
• Rigging equipment in and out;
• General clean up and maintenance of units upon completion of the job;
• Provides high levels of customer service with internal employees and external clients.
