CIMA+’s Transportation team has built a reputation for excellence in municipal and transportation design across Ontario. We seek a Project Manager to lead, plan, design and tender municipal and transportation infrastructure projects in a collaborative team setting.

The role offers a hybrid work model with flexibility and opportunities to mentor staff while delivering high-impact projects from our Burlington or Mississauga offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of project delivery experience, including 5+ years in design for transportation/municipal infrastructure in Ontario
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.) and PEO member
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline designs and construction projects
• Ability to mentor staff and expand technical knowledge
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Microstation/OpenRoads, Office 365 and MS Project an asset
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication in English
• Integrity, team spirit and commitment to excellence

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects on local, collector or arterial roads for municipal clients in Ontario, including schedules, budgets, cost control, quality control and procedures
• Design and contract preparation for urban/rural road construction and reconstruction projects
• Supervision of project design with guidance of technical staff, client liaison, reviews and specifications
• Liaise with government/regulatory authorities to guide permit approvals
• Maintain relationships and coordinate business development activities with potential new clients
