CIMA+’s Municipal & Transportation Design team has built a strong reputation for delivering complex roadway and infrastructure projects across Ontario. The Senior Engineer - Roadway Design will lead roadway design on major provincial and municipal assignments, coordinating with drainage, utilities, and municipal services to ensure safe, sustainable outcomes.

You will work from Mississauga, Toronto, Markham, or Bowmanville offices, guiding multidisciplinary teams and contributing to high-profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or immediately eligible.
• Minimum 10 years of roadway/highway design experience.
• Proven experience with MTO and/or municipal clients.
• Strong knowledge of highway engineering standards, policies, and guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead roadway design components for major transportation projects from concept to completion.
• Act as a transportation engineer on MTO and municipal projects in both preliminary and detailed design.
• Prepare and review technical reports, contract documents, design drawings, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Perform quality control reviews on plans, profiles, and design models in Civil 3D, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads Designer.
• Conduct initial site inspections and support constructability reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and internal project teams.
• Stay current with evolving CAD and roadway design tools and standards.
