Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• PEO licensure (P.Eng) in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with field work, Kingston area connections.
• Proficiency with structural software and basic coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of structural projects with emphasis on quality, cost efficiency, safety and code compliance.
• Act as Project Manager on single-discipline projects, keeping them on time and on budget.
• Coordinate with Gerrits' PM team on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to the team.
• Prepare proposals and reports, review designs, and coordinate with vendors and clients.
• Apply knowledge of building codes: OBC Part 4, CSA A23.3, CSA S16, CSA S136, CSA O86.
