Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or trade certification with expediting/procurement experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of expediting, procurement or logistics experience.
• Experience on large-scale mining or EPC/EPCM projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of supplier management and procurement processes.
• Experience monitoring vendor performance and delivery schedules.
• Ability to interpret project schedules and identify risks to critical path.

Responsibilities

• Lead expediting activities for critical equipment, materials, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance through engineering, manufacturing, inspection and delivery phases.
• Track vendor progress against project schedules and contractual delivery requirements.
• Proactively identify schedule risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, logistics, QA/QC and project stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support development and execution of expediting plans and priorities.
• Review supplier schedules for potential impacts to milestones.
• Resolve supplier performance issues and delivery constraints.
• Coordinate vendor documentation including submittals, shipping docs, and release approvals.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to support inspections and timely issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality, packaging, preservation, and transport requirements.
• Coordinate material readiness and shipments per project schedules and contracts.
• Support logistics planning for site delivery.
• Maintain expediting records and progress updates.
• Provide status reports highlighting critical path items and risks.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement and expediting processes.
