Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Eligible for P.Eng registration with EGBC.
• 5–10 years of mining, mineral processing, EPCM, industrial, energy, or heavy industry experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, pumps, valves, and material handling.
• Experience with technical procurement or vendor management is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering specs, documentation, and design reviews.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review mechanical deliverables (drawings, datasheets, reports).
• Coordinate mechanical and piping tender packages.
• Assist with equipment procurement, bid evaluations, and vendor clarifications.
• Provide input on pumps, piping, valves, tanks, and related equipment.
• Support design of material handling and mineral processing systems.
• Interface with process, electrical, instrumentation, civil, procurement, and construction teams.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, constructability reviews.
• Support site execution, inspections, commissioning, and handover docs.
• Identify risks and develop practical mitigation with stakeholders.
