IAMGOLD Corporation in Toronto seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Estimating to lead capital cost estimating across growth and sustaining projects. You will set standards, oversee an estimating database, and collaborate with project controls, engineering, procurement, and finance to support informed investment decisions.

The role requires 15+ years of mining estimating experience, strong governance knowledge, and the ability to communicate cost data clearly to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive mining estimation experience.
• Strong knowledge of estimating practices, governance, and cost data.
• Experience with estimating software and project controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of capital cost estimates for major mining projects from concept to execution.
• Set estimating standards, procedures, and governance aligned with the capital project framework.
• Manage corporate estimating database, historical cost data, and benchmarking metrics.
• Perform estimate assurance including risk analysis, contingencies, and independent reviews.
• Present estimates and recommendations to senior leaders and investment committees.
