Job summary

IAMGOLD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major capital projects at the Coté Gold Mine. You will oversee activities from early studies through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence at a site-based operation.

This role requires leadership, deep engineering knowledge, and the ability to manage brownfield tie-ins, shutdowns, and EPCM phases, while collaborating with Operations and Engineering

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in Engineering.
• 10+ years in project engineering, construction or project management.
• Experience in mining or industrial construction.
• Proven experience with brownfield tie‑ins, shutdowns, and commissioning.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with Oracle, EcoSys, or Primavera is an asset.
• Understanding construction methodologies, engineering studies, and EPCM phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead project studies, engineering coordination, construction, commissioning, and project handover.
• Develop Project Execution Plans, including constructability, brownfield tie‑ins, and shutdown sequencing.
• Manage contractors, consultants, schedules, budgets, risks, and HSSE performance.
• Oversee project resources (labour, equipment, materials) and ensure safe field execution.
• Prepare and manage RFPs, contracts, and procurement for project delivery.
• Mentor and guide site engineers and work closely with Operations, Engineering, and other teams.
