Job summary

Bill Gosling Outsourcing is seeking a Hybrid Recruiter to join our People & Culture team at our Barrie, Ontario location. You will own the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, assessments, offers, and negotiations, while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

You’ll partner with hiring managers, manage relationships with vendors and government agencies, and coordinate open houses and career events to meet hiring goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field is an asset.
• At least 1 year of recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offers and pre-employment checks.
• Engage and build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

The Branch Recruiter is responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment process in strategically finding the best talent to join the organization while driving to reach the teams hiring goals. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews and assessments, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring a positive candidates experience. In addition, the Branch Recruiter will create partnership and maintain communication with the management team, external vendors, and various government agencies to effectively facilitate the recruitment process.

As our Hybrid Recruiter, you'll own the recruitment process from start to finish — sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating assessments, extending offers, and helping candidates take the next step in their careers.

You'll also partner closely with hiring managers and internal teams to meet hiring goals while creating a positive and engaging candidate experience.

Compensation: $48,000 per year

Location: 55 Mulcaster Street, Barrie, Ontario

Work Model: Hybrid

What You'll Be Doing

No two days in recruitment are exactly the same! You'll have the opportunity to:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening through interviews, assessments, offers, and pre-employment requirements
• Find and engage great candidates for a variety of hiring needs
• Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and collaborate to achieve hiring goals
• Facilitate and participate in open houses, virtual hiring events, career fairs, and recruitment campaigns
• Help coordinate recruitment initiatives such as employee referral programs
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee information within our HRIS
• Ensure recruitment and employment documentation is completed and properly maintained
• Support candidate surveys and other recruitment initiatives as required
• Work with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and government agencies when needed

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is organized, people-focused, adaptable, and ready to take ownership of their recruitment portfolio.

You'll be a great fit if you

• Have at least 1 year of recruiting experience, ideally within a high-volume environment
• Have experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing candidates
• Are comfortable managing multiple priorities and hiring needs at the same time
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Enjoy partnering with hiring managers and working as part of a team
• Have a strong focus on both candidate and internal client experience
• Are comfortable using applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms — Workday experience is a plus
• Have strong computer skills, including Outlook and Excel
• Are confident speaking with candidates individually and in group settings
• Can use recruitment data and workflows to help improve hiring results

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is considered an asset
