Job summary

Town of Innisfil seeks a Capital Project Manager - Roads, Traffic and Transportation to deliver and coordinate capital infrastructure projects and studies. You will provide recommendations for road, traffic and transportation issues while guiding design, oversight and construction activities.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a P.Eng designation (or ability to obtain) and extensive municipal-infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in civil engineering with focus on transportation.
• P.Eng. designation or ability to obtain.
• PMP certification is an asset and preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design of traffic-related systems including signs and signals.
• Project manage and coordinate capital infrastructure projects and studies.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor design/construction progress.
• Coordinate planning of the Town’s transportation system and master plans.
• Identify operational deficiencies on the road network and recommend improvements.
• Prepare staff reports, council memos, policies and by-laws for traffic-related issues.
