Job summary

Aviva Canada is hiring Field Adjusters to join our Property Field Claims team. This role is home based and serves the Greater Calgary Area, requiring on-site or virtual inspections of residential property claims.

You will capture the scope of damages, write repair estimates, and reconcile vendor estimates to settle claims while delivering exemplary customer service. Candidates should have 2+ years as a field adjuster, solid property insurance knowledge, and a valid driver's license; the role

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Field adjuster handling Personal Lines claims.
• Strong understanding of Property Insurance.
• Good PC skills and adaptability using new technology.

Responsibilities

• Completes on site and/or virtual inspections of residential property claims.
• Responsible for capturing the scope of damages and writing repair estimates to settle claims.
• Reconciles and validates vendor estimates to ensure price and scope is appropriate.
• Investigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses and lawyers to obtain facts.
