Job summary

ELEVATOR is a 24-year boutique PR agency looking for a creative PR Account Manager to join our Canada-wide team (Montreal, Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver). This hybrid role combines strategic PR with social mediasavvy execution, requiring strong copywriting and client communication leadership.

You will lead media relations, craft compelling content, manage budgets, mentor junior staff, and drive campaigns that deliver measurable ROI in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Public Relations or Marketing Communications
• 3+ years experience in PR agency environment
• Proven experience developing and executing strategic PR campaigns across multiple industries (travel experience a must!)
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingualism is a strong asset
• Experience writing content for social media, blog posts, press releases, newsletters
• Knowledge of social platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Experience monitoring, tracking and reporting results with PR tools
• Influencer strategy and program management
• Social media analytics and reporting an asset
• Creative mindset with content development experience
• Curiosity, enthusiasm to learn, and problem-solving mindset
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of strategies to meet clients' goals (earned media, social, content, influencer)
• Nurture relationships with media and influencers (regional and national)
• Budget development and management
• Write copy for social channels, press releases, pitches, contracts, reports
• Support in management and mentorship of junior staff
• Contribute to Elevator social media and marketing
• Learn clients' industries and key players in media
• Stay informed on changing technologies and applications
• Lead and demonstrate success in media relations
• Conduct competitive analysis on client competitors
• Prepare ROI-focused reports
• Plan and manage events (travel may be required)
