Job summary

NKPR is seeking an experienced PR Account Manager to lead day-to-day client work, develop strategic programs, and mentor junior team members. You will oversee media relations, craft compelling pitches, and ensure campaigns meet clients’ objectives.

Based in our downtown Toronto office, this hybrid role requires managing multiple accounts across industries, presenting recommendations, editing materials, and guiding the team to deliver high-impact results.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of PR agency experience with local and national campaigns.
• Established media relations skills and knowledge of the Canadian media landscape.
• Experience independently managing multiple client relationships and priorities.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities; able to simplify complex information.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and guiding development.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day relationships across assigned client accounts and be a trusted point of contact.
• Develop and execute strategic PR programs aligned with clients’ objectives.
• Lead media relations: identify angles, pitch, and build media relationships.
• Manage integrated campaigns, events, and brand activations end-to-end.
• Write and edit pitches, press releases, advisories, and client communications.
