The Payroll Specialist will oversee full-cycle payroll for nationwide teammates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while acting as the payroll subject matter expert on Dayforce configurations and related processes.

The role emphasizes compliance, documentation, and cross-team collaboration, with a hybrid work setup and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a payroll environment preferred.
• Level 2 Canadian Payroll or Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification is an asset.
• US and/or International payroll experience is an asset.
• Proficient with Google Workspace apps and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly or weekly payrolls for hourly, salaried, union and non-union teammates.
• Review and balance Time and Attendance.
• Audit payroll information and ensure accuracy.
• Enter payroll data into Dayforce and meet processing timelines.
• Prepare bi-weekly/month-end reports and remittances.
• Assist in year-end processing of T4/T4A/RL-1/W‑2 and reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll files and ensure confidentiality.
