Job summary

FortisAlberta Inc. is seeking 10 Customer Service Representatives to support customers across Alberta from our Airdrie Kingsview location. The role is part-time and hybrid, with six weeks of full-time training and schedules that may include weekends.

You will handle inquiries, resolve outages, create work orders, and document customer interactions while collaborating with Dispatch and Control Centre to provide timely outage information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to listen, understand needs, and provide clear information.
• Ability to stay organized and make sound decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve inquiries via phone, email, WebChat, and other channels.
• Support customers during power outages and emergencies.
• Identify needs, resolve concerns, and escalate complex issues.
• Create work orders and document interactions and service requests.
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Control Centre for outage information.
• Monitor trouble calls and ensure follow-up with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer, outage, and service data in internal systems.
• Review meter information and support appropriate service actions like reconnection requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
• Participate in special projects and provide additional Customer Care support.
