NFP, an Aon company, offers a hybrid Ottawa-based Account/Client Manager role. You will assist a producer in applications, renewals, and day-to-day client interactions, while driving client service excellence.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships with clients, carriers, and NFP staff, with cross-selling opportunities and revenue growth. A RIBO license and 3+ years of experience are required; EPIC proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• RIBO license is required.
• Typically more than 3 years of industry experience – broking or underwriting.
• Extensive experience placing multi-line coverage for Mid-Market/Complex accounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for a remote team environment.
• Client-focused with strong relationship-building.
• High-level organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and solid decision-making.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities/technology.
• Extensive insurance carrier relationships.
• EPIC fluency is an asset; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications, specifications, and marketing strategy with a producer for new business and renewals.
• Provide professional, prompt customer service via phone, email, and walk-ins for client accounts.
• Generate revenue growth by cross-selling P&C lines, Group Benefits, and Wealth Management; generate referrals.
• Lead maintenance of positive, long-term relationships with clients, carriers, and NFP staff.
