City of St. Albert is seeking an IT Business Analyst to lead analysis for projects and strategic initiatives within the IT department.

You will engage cross-functional teams to understand processes, define requirements, and translate them into actionable designs and technology-enabled solutions. The role supports Next Generation 9-1-1 and Enterprise Maintenance Management projects, working with staff at various levels to improve service delivery, data quality, and user experience.

Competenze

Degree or diploma with 5–7 years in business analysis
Direct work experience as a business analyst is required
Industry certifications are assets for advancement
Municipal IT project experience is an asset

Mansioni

Analyze and document current-state processes and identify improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs and specs.
Lead process review and future-state design to improve service and data quality.
Facilitate workshops and interviews with cross-functional teams.
Support technology projects through documentation, testing coordination and implementation.
