Job summary

Peel Region is seeking a Coordinator in Housing Business Operations for a contract full-time role (up to 13 months) at 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two on-site days per week.

You will assist in coordinating activities, compiling data, conducting research, and preparing standard reports to support the Divisional Management Team, ensuring housing services are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

• General college diploma in business management, human services, or related fields with at least 3 years of job related experience
• Knowledge of the Housing Services Act and Residential Tenancies Act is an asset
• Knowledge of Housing programs and services, operational processes, policies and other resource supports in Human Services is an asset
• Motivated, capable of learning new skills and responsibilities
• A satisfactory Criminal Record Check obtained directly from a police station

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a range of operational activities and business planning initiatives
• Support performance measurement, reporting processes, and status updates to Housing Divisional Managers
• Document policies and procedures to assist in service delivery
• Coordinate administration needs with internal partners (Purchasing, Finance, Property Services, etc.)
• Prepare meetings, minutes, and follow up actions; gather stakeholder feedback
