Job summary

YW Calgary is seeking a Fund Development Associate to support fundraising activities across annual, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation giving. You will manage donor relationships, coordinate engagement opportunities, and help drive revenue growth through donor-centered practices.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you’ll collaborate across teams to identify opportunities, support stewardship, and ensure accurate donor records in Raiser’s Edge NXT while maintaining CRA

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with donor engagement activities and fundraising programs.
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Manage donor and prospect relationships through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
Research and prioritize prospective donors, partners, and supporters.
Coordinate donor acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship activities.
Prepare proposals and donor communications; support annual giving and campaigns.
Represent YWCA Calgary at events and community engagements.
